Beginner's Guide to Using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Template
This guide is designed to help you use the template to manage your recruitment process effectively.
1. Managing Job Openings
Step 1: Add a New Job Opening
- Click the "New" button to add a new role.
- Fill in the details:
- Title
- Department
- Location
- Hiring manager (linked to a team member)
- Deadline for applications
2. Adding and Managing Candidates
Step 1: Add a New Candidate
- Click the "New" button to add a new entry.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Name
- Contact information
- Job applied for (linked to the Job Openings database)
- Source (e.g., LinkedIn, employee referral)
- Status (e.g., New, Screened, Interviewing), and so on.
Step 2: Link Candidates to Job Openings
- There is a two-way relation property to link candidates and job openings.
Step 3: Update Candidate Status
- Use the Kanban Pipeline to drag and drop candidates into different stages (e.g., from "Screened" to "Interview Scheduled").
- Add notes or feedback in the candidate's profile for context.
Step 4: Filter and Sort Candidates
- Use filters to narrow down candidates by specific criteria (e.g., job title, status, source).
- Sort candidates alphabetically, by application date, or by overall score (if using the evaluation scoreboard).
